Final Fantasy classic is being remastered to HD!

ImageHello everyone, and welcome back to my blog.  Since the release of the Playstation 3, fans have been crying and pleading with Square-Enix to produce a remake of Final Fantasy 7.  Square-Enix has been avoiding this subject matter for quite a while, but they are bringing back a classic Final Fantasy title to HD for the Playstation 3 and PS Vita.  The chosen title is Final Fantasy X.

I feel your frustration everyone.  Why Square-Enix is prioritizing other titles over a Final Fantasy 7 remake is beyond me.  I think a remake of Final Fantasy 7 will really boost sales for them immensely.  So ladies and gentleman gamers, there you have it the remastered version of Final Fantasy X.  It will be the same game, only a lot prettier.  Graphics output on Playstation 3 or the OLED screen on the PS Vita, which ever way you go, you’re in for one amazing replay of a classic RPG.

No release date is confirmed as of yet.  So, I guess we’ll just wait until we see it pop up on the PSN.  Thanks for reading my blog and be sure to leave comments and feedback.

Game Tracks that were forgotten that deserve praise.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog.  Sorry for being a little light on the uploads lately, but life has been a little hectic.  Just a quick recap.  I am happy to say that I recently graduated from my university.  It was a hectic time, but it was a great memory that I will always treasure.  On a sour note, I had an interview with a non-profit organization for a position of media relations specialist.  I made it to the final interview and everything seemed perfect, but alas they chose someone else.  It was a downer, but hey it just means there is something better out there for me.

Anyhow now that my venting is complete, back to the task at hand.  I noticed that other than the unimpressive E3 this year, people have been raving about certain songs (i.e. One Winged Angel) that to me are way over hyped.  Don’t get me wrong, back in the day it was the most amazing song ever written, but now people put too much emphasis on that one track.  I’m happy to inform you that there are other tracks out there that are just as good.  Here are a few tracks that I believe deserve recognition:

Chrono Cross-People Imprisoned By Fate:  This song is absolutely epic.  The track just fills you with a sadness of knowing something is going to happen.

Grandia 2- Fight Version 4: The Final Battle: A beautiful track by Noriyuki Iwadare.  It screams final showdown.

Digital Devil Saga 2- Divine Identity: A track that was so under rated.  This had to be one of Shoji Meguro’s best pieces.

YS Seven-Ancient Disputation: This is an amazing track.  The chorus in the middle of the song is amazing.

I hope you enjoy these tracks.  Let me know if there are any tracks you think should be notable, please share them with me.  I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks for following.

Wii U…thoughts?

ImageHello everyone and Happy Summer to everyone.  As many of you already know E3 has kicked off.  There are many premiere titles that are being unveiled from numerous developers, some of the most talked about is Gears of War Judgement, and Halo 4.  Nintendo however is set to debut their new console the Wii U. From previews and glances the console looks impressive, however with the recent downfall of the Wii people have been skeptical about whether or not this system will be a success.  I think it has a sporting chance, but unless Nintendo allows other 3rd party developers to create games for this console it may not last long.

I would love to hear everyone’s insight on the Wii U.  Thank you for reading and following my blog.  Be sure to tell all your fellow bloggers out there about my blog.
